Amazon now has delivered the third launch of its Project Kuiper broadband internet satellites. The analysts estimate the cost to Amazon is $150 million per launch this year. The Federal Communications Commission requires Amazon to have at least 50 percent of its planned 3,236-satellite constellation in operation no later than July 30, 2026.

Gilmour Space is preparing to launch its homegrown Eris rocket. The company was planning to launch on Wednesday, July 16, at 7:30 AM AEST (21:30 UTC on Tuesday, July 15) The company has since pushed back the attempt to no earlier than July 26. Eris will fly on a northeasterly trajectory over the Coral Sea and hopes to reach low-Earth orbit (LEO) on its first attempt.
