The “Owl The Way Up’ mission is scheduled to launch from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1 in Mahia, New Zealand during a launch window that opens on December 21th. The mission will deploy a single StriX satellite to orbit for Synspective. The forecast calls for a temperature of 66°F, overcast clouds, 100% cloud cover and a wind speed of 20mph.

Astra 1P is SES’s most powerful wide-beam satellite to broadcast from the 19.2 degrees East TV neighbourhood. Equipped with 80 transponders, Astra 1P can support hundreds of HD channels. Built by Thales Alenia Space, Asta 1P was successfully launched by SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket on June 20th 2024 from Cape Canaveral, Florida.

UP Aerospace conducts latest research mission from Spaceport America – SatNews

SPACEPORT America’s UP Aerospace partnered with NASA’s Flight Opportunities program on its latest flight, SL-15. SL-15 featured its SpaceLoft rocket shuttling a variety of payloads to sub-orbital heights. One payload was a suite of multi-GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) receivers from NASA’s Space Communications and Navigation.
