Launch is targeted for 8:00 a.m. ET, with a backup opportunity available on Thursday, June 12. Frigid Exoplanet in Strange Orbit Imaged by NASA’s Webb

Using Webb’s NIRCam (Near-Infrared Camera), researchers have successfully imaged one of two known planets surrounding the star 14 Herculis. The exoplanet, 14 Herculis c, is one of the coldest imaged to date. Findings indicate the planet orbits around 1.4 billion miles from the host star in a highly elliptical, or football-shaped orbit.

Axiom-4 (Ax-4) will be the fourth private Dragon mission to the International Space Station (ISS) The mission will be commanded by Peggy Whitson, piloted by Shubhanshu Shukla, with mission specialists Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski and Tibor Kapu. Poland, Hungary, and India have each sent one human to space previously in 1978, 1980, and 1984, respectively. This flight will see each nation have an astronaut onboard.
