EchoStar is selling its AWS-4 and H-Block licenses (c. 50MHz of spectrum) to SpaceX for $17 billion (€14.5bn) SpaceX will also assume $2 billion of interest payments due between now and up to November 2027. In connection with the transaction, SpaceX and EchoStar will enter into a long-term commercial agreement.

Capgemini, Thales and Thales Alenia Space have been selected by the French Space Agency to lead an innovative demonstration of 5G Direct-to-Device (D2D) connectivity. A demonstrator satellite will be placed in LEO to test interoperability between terrestrial and non-terrestrial 5G networks.

SpaceX is targeting Tuesday, September 9 for a Falcon 9 launch of the Nusantara Lima mission to geosynchronous transfer orbit. The company will send up its Falcon 9 rocket to launch the Boeing-built Nusantara Peru mission from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station’s Space Launch Complex 40. A live webcast of this mission will begin about 15 minutes prior to liftoff, which you can watch on X @SpaceX. This will be the 23rd flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission.
