New Glenn’s inaugural mission (NG-1) is targeting no earlier than Friday, January 10, from Launch Complex 36 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. The three-hour launch window opens at 1 a.m. EST (0600 UTC) Blue Origin’s payload for New Glenn’s first mission will carry the company’s Blue Ring Pathfinder.

NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) recently imaged NASA’s Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations, Geodesy, and Heat Transport (InSight) lander. The new imagery highlights movements in Martian surface dust around InSight. InSight had accumulated too much dust on its solar panels, resulting in low power levels and, ultimately, the end of the mission.
