South Korea plans to launch its fourth military reconnaissance satellite from a US space base this week. The country seeks to better monitor North Korean threats with independent surveillance capabilities. The launch will be part of South Korea’s plan to deploy five satellites by the end of this year.

Firefly Aerospace’s launch of Lockheed Martin’s FLTA006 has been scheduled for Sunday, April 27th, at 6:37 AM – 8:17 AM PDT from Vandenberg. This is the sixth flight of the Firefly Alpha small satellite launcher, launching the demonstration mission for Lockheed Martin's new LM400 satellite bus. The satellite bus is customizable to support different missions, including remote sensing, communications, imagery and radar Earth observations.

SpaceX on Monday, April 21 at 8:48 p.m. ET on Falcon 9 launched the Bandwagon-3 mission to orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. On board this mission is ADD’s 425Sat-3 a synthetic aperture radar satellite in the Korea 425 Project constellation. German company, Atmos Space Cargo’s PHOENIX re-entry capsule, received permission for the re-entry mission in January.

The CRS-32 resupply services mission for NASA contains 6,700 pounds of scientific investigations and cargo.
