SpaceX to have second launch in 24 hours on August 17 of 21 Starlinks – SatNews

SpaceX is targeting Thursday, August 17 at 1:42 a.m. PT (8:42 UTC) for a Falcon 9 launch of 21 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit. This is the 15th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission. The first stage will land on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship, which will be stationed in the Pacific Ocean.

This was the Space Coast’s 42nd launch this year. The rocket’s 162-foot first stage landed on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship, that is stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. This is the 13th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched CRS-22, Crew-3, Turksat 5B, Crew-4, CRS-25 and four Starlink missions.

LICIACube was part of NASA’s Double Asteroid Redirection Test mission, the first attempt to target, impact and move an asteroid in space. Etisalat by e& has achieved Tier 4 certification of its Tawi al Saman teleport in Sharjah and Jebel Ali teleport in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. To achieve Full Certification under WTA’s program, an auditor is dispatched to visit the teleport, provide independent validation of the data submitted in a questionnaire, and identify additional factors that may positively or negatively affect the score. WTA has now certified teleports in 25 nations.

Orion spacecraft for the Artemis II mission is nearing final assembly and testing. Orion crew module is expected to be mated to the service module in mid-September. Lockheed Martin believes they can complete their work by the end of April next year. Artemis II is planned to be a 10-day long, lunar-flyby test flight.
