SpaceX is targeting Thursday, April 24 for a Falcon 9 launch of 28 Starlink smallsats to low-Earth orbit. Launch is targeted for 9:52 p.m. ET, with backup opportunities available until 1:28 a.m. ET on Friday, April 25. The smallsats will be launched into the largest shell of its Starlink constellation.

Rocket Lab USA, Inc. Has been selected by Kratos to launch a full-scale, hypersonic test flight for the Department of Defense. The mission will launch on Rocket Lab’s HASTE rocket from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 2 on Wallops Island, Virginia. The launch agreement is the first full-scale flight test to be awarded by Kratos under the MACH-TB 2.0 contract.

Spirent Communications plc (LSE:SPT) last month was selected by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) to provide a pioneering lunar positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) simulation solution. Spirent’s PNT X solution enables JAXA to simulate lunar PNT services in a controlled lab environment before they become operational on the Moon.
