Sidus Space’s extended and amended preliminary $120M agreement with Lonestar for six lunar data storage spacecraft – SatNews

Sidus Space will move forward with, and broaden the scope of, a preliminary agreement valued at approximately $120 million with Lonestar Data Holdings. The agreement defines the collaboration between Sidus and Lonestar to design, build and provide on-orbit support for six lunar data storage spacecraft. The lunar spacecraft, based on Sidus’ adaptable LizzieSat platform, will leverage cutting-edge technology to provide secure, redundant data storage for mission-critical information in deep space.

SpaceX stood down on April 1 from a planned Falcon 9 rocket launch Tuesday night of 27 Starlink smallsats to low-Earth orbit. Liftoff from Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force Base is now targeting Thursday, April 3, at 3:54 pm PT (7:54 pm ET, 2354 UTC) The forecast calls for a temperature of 55°F, broken clouds, 79% cloud cover and a wind speed of 20mph.

Eutelsat ramps up LEO-enabled aviation services – SatNews

Eutelsat has announced its OneWeb low Earth orbit (LEO) services for commercial and business aviation are now live and operational. Air Canada is the first commercial airline to deploy the multi-orbit GEO/LEO service, through Intelsat. In business aviation, Eutelsat has partnered with Gogo to equip the first Embraer Phenom 300 with LEO services.
