Blue Origin’s New Shepard NS-29 will launch from West Texas Suborbital Launch Site/ Corn Ranch. This mission will simulate the Moon’s gravity and fly 30 payloads, all but one of which is focused on testing lunar-related technologies. The payloads will experience at least two minutes of lunar gravity forces.

SpaceX plans a Friday launch of Starlink Group 11-6 smallsats to provide the most remote areas across the world with high speed internet. The launch is scheduled for January 24 @ 5:54 am – 10:25 am from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The forecast calls for a temperature of 55°F, scattered clouds, 35% cloud cover and a wind speed of 5mph.

SpaceX is preparing to beta test Direct-to-Cell (DTC) Starlink satellites. DTC satellites will connect mobile phones to cellular services from almost anywhere on Earth. This beta will enable more development of DTC technology than ever before. SpaceX will have until July 26, 2025, to test DTC services for its Starlink satellites.
