ST Engineering to support UAE’s space ambitions with SAR satellite – SatNews

ST Engineering has been selected by FADA to deliver a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite. The project is aimed at enhancing the UAE’s Earth Observation (EO) capabilities. The satellite will have state-of-the-art imaging with sub-meter resolution and a high-speed downlink.

Falcon 9 took off from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The Starlink Group 6-79 mission launched 29 smallsats into the Starlink constellation. This was the ninth flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission.
