Sentinel-6B is the second of twin satellites in the Copernicus Sentinel-6/Jason-CS mission. The first, Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich, launched in November 2020. The mission continues a decades-long effort to monitor global sea level and ocean conditions using radar.

Amazon is sharing the name Amazon Leo for its satellite communications network. The network is called Amazon LEO, a nod to the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation that powers the network. There are now more than 150 satellites in orbit, and customers and partners such as JetBlue, L3Harris, DIRECTV Latin America, Sky Brasil, have already signed up to deploy the service.

Sierra Space’s Dream Chaser spaceplane has completed a series of critical pre-flight tests at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. Dream Chaser is on track for its first launch to LEO, targeted in Q4 of 2026, through a demonstration mission with a runway landing at Vandenberg Space Force Base.

Poland's first military satellite will be launched from Vandenberg AFB in California on November 22. The satellite is developed by a consortium of Finnish manufacturer ICEYE and Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności No 1, a branch of Poland’s state-run defense group PGZ. The initial deal is worth around PLN 860 million ($237 million)

The Indian government has approved the complex Chandrayaan-4 mission that is designed as a lunar sample-return mission for launch in 2028. The organization also plans for seven more launches during the current financial year. Multiple SATCOM missions are in the works, as well as the first PSLV built entirely by Indian industry.
