AvL Technologies (AvL) CEO Guy Clerici has announced new roles for Tony Wilkey, Larry Watts as well as several, key team leaders. Several other key leaders at AvL have moved into new roles. Jesse Kirby is now Director of Product Engineering, Ryan Cox is now Director of Program Management. Mark Ladow is now Systems Engineering Manager, Zach Akridge is now Senior Manager of Operations. Mark Fish is now Senior Electrical Product Engineering and Manufacturing Manager.

Satellite designed and built by Open Cosmos to gather and monitor crucial agriculture data for Andalucía has passed three milestone reviews and is on track to launch this year. The new satellite has been commissioned by the Junta de Andalucia through the Andalusian Agricultural and Fisheries Management Agency (AGAPA) The satellite can be part of the OpenConstellation, a global shared satellite infrastructure built and managed by Open Cosmos.

SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft will deliver more than 5,800 pounds of cargo, including a variety of NASA investigations, to the space station. The spacecraft is expected to spend about a month attached to the orbiting outpost before it returns to Earth with research and return cargo. Launch timing is dependent upon the undocking and return of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-5.

Crew Dragon Endurance returns to Earth on Crew-5 mission

The Crew-5 astronauts returned to Earth on the evening of Saturday, March 11, after spending the last five months aboard the International Space Station. Nicole Mann and Josh Cassada of NASA, Koichi Wakata of JAXA, and Anna Kikina of Roscosmos undocked their Crew Dragon, C210 Endurance, early on Saturday. Since docking with the Station on Oct. 6, 2022, the Crew-5 members have conducted around 200 science experiments and technology demonstrations. The SpaceX recovery ship Megan has been conducting rehearsals for the crew recovery while off Cape Canaveral, while sister ship Shannon has sailed to support recovery operations in the Gulf of Mexico.
