Orbex will instead launch its first rockets from SaxaVord. The decision enables the company to direct more funding to the development of a new, medium-sized launch vehicle called Proxima. Orbex will retain its lease to build and operate its own spaceport at Sutherland.

SES will launch the fourth pair of O3b mPOWER satellites to a medium Earth orbit by SES on Friday the 13th at 12:55 – 3:55 PM from Kennedt Space Center, Florida. A little more than eight minutes after liftoff, the first stage booster will land on a droneship positioned in the Atlantic Ocean.
