Vaya Space has been selected by AFWERX for a SBIR Phase II in the amount of $1,236,406. The program will focus on the development of the Hybrid-Fueled Ramjet, a throttleable and restartable hypersonic missile propulsion system.

Blue Origin successfully completed its 14th human spaceflight and the 34th flight for the New Shepard program. The crew included: Arvi Bahal, Gökhan Erdem, Deborah Martorell, Lionel Pitchford, J.D. Russell, and H.E. Justin Sun. All six passengers were spaceflight rookies except Russell, who flew on Blue Origin’s NS-28 mission in November 2024.

SpaceX is retiring Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) after a decade and 53 landings. The land was leased to SpaceX for five years by the U.S. Air Force’s 45th Space Wing in February 2015. LZ-1 was joined by Landing Zone 2 (LZ-2) in 2017, with initial plans for a third zone.
