Blue Origin has completed their 35th New Shepard flight and 15th payload mission from Launch Site One in West Texas. This flight carried more than 40 payloads from students, NASA, research institutions, and commercial companies. Club for the Future flew thousands of postcards as part of its Postcards to Space program.

Simera Sense and Infinite Orbits have signed a contract to incorporate Simera Sense’s optical payload onto an Infinite Orbits mission. This collaboration is part of the French governmental program named France 2030 and led by the French Space Agency. The optical payload will deliver Non-Earth Imaging (NEI) in the visible spectrum.

SpaceX’s Falcon 9 is targeting the launch of 24 Starlink smallsats to low-Earth orbit. The forecast calls for a temperature of 66°F, broken clouds, 53% cloud cover and a wind speed of 4mph. A live webcast of this mission will begin about five minutes prior to liftoff.

Falcon 9 launched 28 Starlink smallsats to low-Earth orbit on September 18. This was the seventh flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission. The first stage landed on the Just Read the Instructions droneship, which was stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.

Project Kuiper says it will have broadband coverage in five countries by March 2026. Kuiper is on a strict ITU-mandated deadline where it has to have half of its initial 3,232 satellites in orbit by July 2026. The service plans to be live in 54 countries in 2027, and up to 100 countries by the end of 2028.
