Boeing delivers advanced O3b mPOWER satellites to SES – SatNews

Boeing teams have successfully delivered the 7th and 8th O3b mPOWER satellites to SES. These satellites, featuring Boeing’s advanced software-defined communications payload, are being transported to Cape Canaveral for a planned launch in December. Boeing continues production, integration, and testing of the remaining O3bmPOWER satellites, with plans to deliver the next three in H1 2025.

L3Harris Technologies has delivered the Optical Telescope Assembly (OTA) to NASA. The OTA serves as the critical ‘eye’ for the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope. L3Harris tested the telescope’s mirrors down to -82 degrees Fahrenheit. NASA is scheduled to launch the observatory by May 2027.
