Forrester’s Digest: Belgium’s Aerospacelab raises $110milion – SatNews

Aerospacelab has raised $110 million (€94.5m) of fresh cash to expand its manufacturing capacity. Aim is to produce up to 500 satellites each year, starting in 2026 and reaching full output by 2027. The cash-raising exercise is part of a Series B round, and should enable its 215,000 sq ft factory to be completed and equipped.

SpaceX schedules launch of 24 smallsats of Starlink Group 17-7 on Friday from California – SatNews

SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket is targeted to launch 24 Starlink smallsats to low-Earth orbit to join the Starlink cnstellation. The forecast calls for a temperature of 64°F, scattered clouds, 32% cloud cover and a wind speed of 10mph. There is the possibility that residents of Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties may hear one or more sonic booms during the launch.

SpaceX launches 28 smallsats of Starlink Group 10-11 from Florida – SatNews

On Thursday, August 28 at 1:12 a.m. ET, Falcon 9 launched 28 Starlink smallsats to low-Earth orbit. This was Space’X’s second Starlink launch in 24 hours featuring Falcon 9 booster that set a record 30th flight. SpaceX has launched more than 1,800 of these satellites across 74 missions so far in 2025.
